Lax Journal Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Lax Journal is a personal lacrosse stat tracker. The app is designed to work on your device, and we collect the minimum data needed to improve the product.

Data Stored on Your Device

Player profiles, games, stats, training logs, and recruiting information you enter are stored locally on your iPhone. During an active game, relevant game context and stat input can be exchanged with your paired Apple Watch. We do not upload this lacrosse data to our servers.

Anonymous Analytics

To understand how the app is used, we collect anonymous usage events such as game started, stat logged, paywall viewed, and purchase completed. These events may include a randomly generated install identifier, app version, OS version, device locale, platform, and subscription state.

Analytics events do not include player names, team names, game stats you enter, recruiting contact details, payment details, advertising identifiers, or precise location. The install identifier is not used for tracking across apps or websites.

You can turn analytics off in the app at any time under Settings - Share anonymous analytics.

Purchases

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide transaction status needed to unlock Pro features.

Children's Privacy

Lax Journal is intended for use by parents and players. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics described above are anonymous for all users.
